Step-by-Step for baked artichokes
A quick tutorial on how to successfully boil then bake your artichoke easily in any kitchen.
Cut off the stem to about one inch in length and trim off the small outer leaves. Next you're going to want to cut off all the points of the bigger leaves, cutting off about 1/4th of the top of the artichoke.
Once artichoke is prepped and the water is at a mid boil add your artichokes in. Cook your artichokes for around 30 minutes, flipping over for at least 10 minutes. To verify your artichokes are fully cooked you should be able to easily pull out an artichoke leaf with little effort. Remove and let cool down once you've made sure it is cooked. Insert your artichokes on an oven safe dish. Broil for around 6 minutes but watch them the entire time. You want to brown the artichokes, if you see any burning take them out and turn off the oven. Once the artichokes are browned to your liking take them out and enjoy!
